Common questions

Where is my data stored?

On your device. Flipfolio keeps your inventory, sales, fees, expenses, mileage, photos and notes in a local database on the phone itself. There is no account and no cloud sync, so nothing is uploaded to us. See the privacy policy for the full detail.

Does Flipfolio work offline?

Yes. The app is offline-first — you can add inventory and record sales with no connection at all. The only network use is subscription/receipt validation.

What happens to my data if I get a new phone?

Because data lives only on the device, moving to a new phone means restoring from your own iPhone backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup). If you install Flipfolio fresh on a new device, it starts empty — we have no server-side copy to restore from.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Flipfolio. From there you can change or cancel it. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the paid period.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us. Use reportaproblem.apple.com and select the purchase. If something went wrong on our side, email us and we’ll help you make the case.

My subscription isn’t showing as active

Try restoring purchases in the app first (this re-checks your receipt with Apple). Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase. If it still doesn’t appear, email us with the approximate purchase date and we’ll look into it.

Do you collect analytics or track me?

No. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, and no advertising in Flipfolio. Your data is never combined with third-party data for advertising or shared with data brokers.

Can I delete my data?

Yes — uninstalling the app removes all local data from your device. There’s no server-side copy.
