Turnabout (“we”, “our”) is published by Stive Hassan, operating as WebGeeks AI. This policy explains what Turnabout holds and how it handles your information.

Unlike our other apps, Turnabout is not fully offline. Passing turns between two people needs a server, so this policy describes exactly what that server holds.

TL;DR

There are no accounts and we never ask who you are. To connect two players, our sync server holds a display name you choose, a random device token, the room you are in, and the state of games in progress. Nothing is linked to your real identity, and nothing is sold or shared.

What Turnabout stores

Turnabout has no accounts, no sign-up, no email address and no password. To let two people play each other, the sync server holds:

• A display name you choose. Pick anything; it does not have to be your real name.
• A random device token that identifies your device to the server.
• Which room you are in, so the other player’s moves reach you.
• The state of the games in progress: the board, whose turn it is, the moves so far.

A purchase is recorded against an anonymous identifier supplied by RevenueCat, our payments provider, so that both players in a pair get access.

None of this is linked to your real identity, because we never ask for it. There is no advertising, no tracking, no analytics, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone.

What stays on your phone

App preferences and your local settings stay on your device. Only what is listed above ever reaches the server.

What we do not do

• We do not ask for your email address, phone number, or any contact detail.
• We do not use analytics, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or tracking of any kind.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.

Payments

Payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Purchases are validated through RevenueCat, which receives only an anonymous purchase identifier needed to confirm the unlock for both players in a pair. No personal or financial data is shared with it. Turnabout never sees, stores, or transmits payment information.

Data retention

Rooms and games in progress are kept so you can return to an unfinished match. If you want a room and its games removed, email us with the room code and we will delete them.

Children

Turnabout does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because we never ask for identifying information, we do not hold any.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date shown at the top of it.
